Join the Krainer Lab! 

The Krainer Lab welcomes interested scientists at several levels of education including undergraduate students, PhD students, and postdoctoral fellows. 

Undergraduates interested in working at the lab should apply for Cold Spring Harbor's Undergraduate Research Program (URP). Applications are generally due in January for the ten-week summer internship. 

Prospective PhD Students wishing to work in the lab need to apply to the CSHL School of Biological Sciences or a graduate program through Stony Brook University (SBU). If you are not a current student, please contact the CSHL School of Biological Sciences, a graduate program of interest at SBU, or the SBU Medical Scientist Training Program for information on how to apply. Once accepted into a program, students in their first year will rotate through several labs before joining a lab for their thesis work. 

Applicants for Postdoctoral Fellow positions should email Dr. Krainer with their CV, a description of research interests, and two or three letters of reference including that of their PhD mentor. The lab is engaged in a wide range of projects and it is helpful to describe what areas interest you most. Note that this is not an advertisement for a specific position.
